New Sensation 16 CT Scanner is now in use. If your doctor has prescribed a CT, come to the Radiology Department and get your exam done in less than 1/2 the time as the old CT Scanner.
X-Ray
Uses radiation as a diagnostic tool.
CAT Scan (Computer Axail Tomography)
Provides cross sectional images of the body and is especially helpful in treating trauma cases where time is a factor in treatment.
Ultrasound (Monday & Thursday)
Uses sound waves to create an image. A non-invasive procedure with several sub-specialties:
*Abdominal
*OB/GYN
*Vascular
*2D Echo
*Transcranial
MRI (Wednesday)
A non-invasive diagnostic technique that produces computerized images of internal body tissues.
